Your Insights
This month's card says "share your dreams". We invite you to post your interpretation of its meaning, your experiences integrating its concept into your daily life, etc.
Manifesting Your Heart's Desires
We have all felt worry, fear, doubt and desperation for a change or for a new reality. The need exists to exercise trust and to establish a relationship with a source that is not entirely unfamiliar, yet not quite understood. Then we try to live each day through actions of faith and be ever attentive to the guidance given. . . Eventually, receiving great rewards ( a harvest) and proof of what can be - today & in the future.
This is a story that reminds us of just how to manifest our heart’s desires - through elements we have discussed often this year. It is also a part of our history (in the USA) that provides proof of the efforts many have actively been engaged in this year. It is, in fact, a summary of the story that gave life to this day of Thanksgiving that is upon us. It is a story worth reviewing in a new light.
Unfortunately, as we gather with our friends and families, we will rarely remember the wisdom provided us from the events of history that occurred in 1621—the first Thanksgiving. Instead, this special day has been transposed into one of stressful traveling, elaborate menus, football games and holiday shopping. A prayer of gratitude may be offered before the turkey is served. There may be some conversation shared of the year’s happenings, but these activities are, more often than not, a traditional exercise and a method to catch those we’ve not seen all year up on our lives so we can appease ourselves with some relation with one another. Our children may offer colorful paper turkeys with notes of what they are thankful for as a part of their studies at school and we will smile. The event of Thanksgiving is for the most part then complete, with some sitting stuffed in front of the TV to watch football as they eventually fall asleep and the other members will rush off to find the best in pre-Christmas sales. (Happy Thanksgiving!)
This year we would like to encourage you to engage in the essence of Thanksgiving and to actually give thanks for all you have accomplished throughout the year. Share those stories with your family and friends. Inspire them to remember the truths of manifestation within your story of thanks giving.
Remember the power of magnification is in speaking in the light— The more our thoughts, words & actions
express the manifestation of our desires and the more we are in the place of acknowledgement (giving thanks), the more we will experience what we most desire.
As you prepare to enjoy your holiday feast, imagine what it would have been like in Plymouth in 1621—The journey you would have been on. The actions of faith that were required. Most importantly, the rewards of faithful actions and all you would have had to celebrate on this day of gathering and feasting.
True, the times and circumstances were different in 1621 and the characters are merely symbolic today, but the essence of truth remains the same— With a vision, a belief, a trust, a relationship with that in which we place our faith in and an expectation, there will be a bounty of joy to be harvested! Do not let this truth fade, nor let our own histories become one less worthy of giving thanks.
This Thanksgiving, enjoy your holiday activities, your family & friends, and give thanks for all that has
become yours and all that is coming to you!
