Your Insights
This month's card says "expect your dreams to manifest". We invite you to post your interpretation of its meaning, your experiences integrating its concept into your daily life, etc.
Manifesting Your Heart's Desires
The kids are off to school. Sports, dance, carpooling, etc., have begun again. The boss is pushing for end of year projections to be exceeded. The last of the harvesting is needed to be done. Relatives have begun speaking of the upcoming holiday season. The house, your yard, your wardrobe, etc. all need to be updated for the seasonal change approaching. Etcetera, etcetera. Summer is quickly ending and any flexible time you thought you had, cannot be found. Unless you’ve become very disciplined and unwavering in your practices, soon (if not already) it will feel as though you don’t even have five minutes to contemplate your own desires, intentions, beliefs, and observations.
By the time the holidays do arrive many will find themselves more frustrated, depressed, and/or desperate than they were when they began to actively seek the manifestation of their heart’s desires. That state of being will be compounded now with guilt because they’ll remember what was accomplished during these past months and they’ll know what they need to do, if only a little time can be found. Knowing what we ought to be doing can be a much harder reality than not knowing what to do.
It’s critical during this time that we remain focused and not get lost in emotions of feeling frazzled. Remember, our thoughts and emotions are powerful, and whether we are conscious of them or not, they will orchestrate the experiences we will encounter. Life is always in motion and when it’s moving fast, we simply need to adjust our responses to the activities we find ourselves engulfed in.
One method of maintaining our attention toward our personal goals is to consider “portable” practices, such as a chant, a song, or affirmations. These can be performed anywhere—in the shower, in the car, on the sport field, in the store, during a coffee break, waiting for the bus, etc. The point is to affirm what we want and give it attention. The more you do, the more opportunities you will attract in order to see the manifestation of your desires.
As you consider implementing a chant, song, or affirmation into your daily life it would be advisable to keep them simple. You may also want to post them in areas that you frequent (the bathroom, above the kitchen sink, in the car, near your computer, etc.) until reciting those words becomes routine and are embedded in your being.
Here is one affirmation you may want to consider or to use as a starting point to create your own:
“I know that my consciousness creates my reality. I am conscious of my resourcefulness, my creativity, and my power to create a great destiny. I consciously choose love, joy, peace, and the abundance of all that is needed to fulfill my heart’s desires in my daily life. And so it is!”
