Your Insights
This month's card says "believe in what you dream". We invite you to post your interpretation of its meaning, your experiences integrating its concept into your daily life, etc.
Manifesting Your Heart's Desires
This past month it was suggested to us that to “Wish, Dream, Believe, Expect” the manifestation of our heart’s desires has become “too simplistic” and “many who are doing this (manifesting) have moved beyond”. The suggestion was that there must be “more” to be said.
A “wish” is a prelude to a dream. It is the recognition of the presence of our inner voice / our true self.
A “dream” is the expansion of our wishes. It is the establishment of an active relationship with our inner selves as we acknowledge and embrace the creativity of that life force (energy).
To “believe” is a release of control. It is a knowing that we can trust in the life force that lives within and flows through us to respond to our desires.
To “expect” is the opening of ourselves to receive the truths of our beliefs. It is our witnessing of how we utilize our life force.
As conversations on this topic evolved, so did the realization that we can easily become confused between exercising change and demonstrating change, especially when what we desire to create requires an alteration of deep rooted images of self / false truths of self. These exercises, such as affirmations, vision boards, prayer, etc., are all wonderful tools, in as much as they resonate within us individually. However, simply because we are engaged in these exercises, over what we may consider an extended period of time, does not necessarily equate with the demonstration of change. They are tools that we utilize to convince ourselves that change is possible. When we do reach a state of real change in our beliefs we no longer need to participate in those exercises because we have now embedded in us a “knowing”. Often we can’t explain why or how we “know”, we just do. It is when we reach this new state of being we begin to demonstrate the awesome creative use of this life force that is accessible to us all. We are then free to direct that energy through our thoughts, words and attention to manifest our heart’s desires effortlessly.
Manifesting is NOT complex. The energy / life force that gives us our experiences responds directly to every thought, word, point of attention and belief we project. We are the element of complexity, simply because of the experiences we each have individually had thus far. If “more” is a need we seek, then whatever we have gravitated to as a means to align ourselves with new realizations of self (belief) is not truly resonating with us. If it were, we would be enjoying the manifestation of our heart’s desires now. No “more” would be required. There are numerous tools of practice to lead us to embracing new truths. We may simply need to become “more” aware of the alternative tools/exercises that others have found to be effective. And as we do,
experiment until we find those that resonate within us and lead us to a new state of “knowing”. Remember, it is only when we can transform false truths into new beliefs can we effectively use the creative energy of our life source to manifest what we most desire.
As we engage in the manifestation of our heart’s desires, we must keep in mind that our goal is not to convince ourselves that we are worthy (though we may feel a need to utilize tools / practices to change our beliefs of personal worthiness), our goal is to effectively use our life source to create our heart’s desires.
